ZAFUL HAUL - AUTUMN 2017

In one of my recent posts I showed some of my top picks for Zaful, the online clothing retailer that everyone is talking about because of their seriously up-to-date styles and affordable prices. Zaful were kind enough to send a couple items to me to review and style in an outfit post for autumn weather.

Review

I opted for this gorgeous blue-grey bodycon dress that looked so flattering on the site and a baby pink silk cami that I imagined would go perfectly with mom jeans. So what's the verdict? I am quite the fan of Zaful's clothing, they arrived how I imagined, fit perfectly (although the sizing on the website can be one-size only) and the items are reasonably well made. Whilst the quality wasn't perfect (a few lose threads), I didn't expect it to be faultless especially for the price. Pricing is quite confusing on the site as it changes so regularly, when I wrote about this dress in a previous post it was priced at £11.86, but while writing this it is priced at £12.94 which is a bit weird. Overall, I am pretty happy with the items I received because for the price, they look really good.

Outfit 1

When styling this outfit, I stuck to cool tone colours to match the blue-grey tones of this dress. I kept the outfit simple with an oversized linen shirt from Topshop (I got it a while ago so its not in stock), a basic black clutch from Mango and some black trainers from Nike. It was a warm autumn day and this outfit was perfect, however when it gets colder, I would pair this dress with an oversized duster coat and some thigh-high boots.

Outfit 2

This silk cami is such a cute piece that's perfect for summer but also suitable for layering in the colder months. I wore high waisted jeans from Topshop for coverage and threw on this vintage cardigan for warmth.

THIS SEASON STYLE: JUMPSUITS

A wardrobe essential that has survived decades of trends and styles, yet has also evolved is the classic jumpsuit. This post is about how you can find your way amongst all the diversity and still look stylish in this late summer season.

For this khaki jumpsuit from Gap (similar styles here and here) I chose to keep it really raw with no jewellery and no shoes to match the beachy setting. The shape of this jumpsuit gives a really androgynous vibe which suits the lack of accessorising.
The second jumpsuit I loved because it matched the colour of the setting sky. The flowy legs and crochet detailing on the front make this a cute and unique jumpsuit (similar styles herehere and here)

CYPRUS TRAVEL DIARIES

So as you might know if you follow me on Instagram, I went to the beautiful Cyprus this summer, in the district of Paphos. It was the most amazing holiday and everyday when I see the horrible English weather, I'm wanting to be back more and more. I thought I'd put together a little travel diary of my time there, for people who are hoping to go there, or for those of you who want to dream of being somewhere else.

Follow me on:

Tomb of the Kings

Tomb of the Kings is a historical necropolis that dates back to 4th century BC where the rich and important were buried. Wondering around here with the rich history and beautiful views was such a nice day out.

For my outfit, I picked something very minimal to walk around in the hot Cyprus sun. I wore these high-waisted shorts from Weekday with this Brandy Melville top and wore this must-have hat for blondes if you want to avoid a red scalp! (which is unfortunately sold out, find a similar hat here) These stand out sunglasses (which are sold out too, find similar styles here and here) did make me feel a bit of a diva, that's why I love them! I wore some super comfy Reebok trainers that match the top and were suitable for lots of walking.

I attempted to do a cool hairstyle since I am usually so lazy with my hair and wanted to add something extra to this simplistic outfit. It kind of failed due to the lack of bobby pins I brought on holiday and the fact that I'm terrible at hair, but I still like the way it turned out. A bonus about this hairstyle was that I could still wear a hat, it was out of my face and it kept my long hair out of the way. I followed the amazing YouTuber Kayley Melissa's video which you can watch here!

Exploring Peyia

Me and my boyfriend decided to wonder into Peyia and explore the local area. We came across this beautiful painted wall that resembled a landscape. For my outfit; I wore the same hat, Sunglasses from Tiger, the top was from Tesco (such a good deal!), shorts from Weekday, a bag from a small market in France and shoes from Pavers.

Art Gallery, Paphos Harbour Castle

Located by some beautiful views of the sea, there is an interesting art gallery in Paphos Harbour Castle. This historic site has lent itself to local artists and their work which are exhibited in this beautiful building. At the top of the building you get amazing views of the sea and of Peyia.

I wore this amazing top from Asos that was so good for keeping cool, along with the same hat, sunglasses, shorts, shoes and bag. With a statement top like this, you can completely change up an outfit and it helps you to bring less clothing when you have a small luggage allowance!

The Best Part of the Trip

To end this amazing trip, Adem and I went on a sunset ride along the coast at George's Ranch in Paphos. Having loved and ridden horses since I was younger, but never been able to ride abroad, this was the best part of the trip! The ranch was filled with beautiful well-kept horses and the people there were so lovely, they even let me ride on my own at the end. I definitely recommend visiting there for a ride if you go!

Hope you enjoyed this travel diary!
Watch out for my next post which is a summer lookbook from Cyprus!
